We book by the cabin. Each cabin has a maximum occupancy of two people, and has a private toilet and sink.

Discounts
We are proud to offer a 5% discount per booking for veterans, teachers, healthcare workers, and Maine residents. Please email [email protected] to receive your code.
Guests booking before May 1 can receive a 5% early bird discount using the code EarlyBird26.
Discounts may not be stacked.
Waitlist
If a trip you want to book is full, you can join the waitlist. Plans often change, so when a cancellation occurs, our policy is to notify everyone on a given waitlist at the same time. We will grant the vacancy to the first person to respond and affirm that they would still like to sail on that trip.
Private Charters
Sailing with a friends or family? Want the boat all to yourselves? The Firefly can take a maximum of 6 guests. To charter vessel for your group, please call 207-542-1241.
Deposit and Cancellation Policy
For all trips, a 20% deposit is required upon reservation. The balance is due 8 weeks before the sail date. A full refund – less a $30 cancellation fee – will be given if you cancel before 8 weeks of the sail date. A full refund (less $30) will be granted for cancellations within 8 weeks of the sail date if we can fill your space.
While our vessel rebuild is ongoing, we reserve the right to cancel any trips up to the date of sail. If we are forced to cancel your trip, we will do our best to rebook you on the Schooner Lewis R. French or another windjammer in the area. If we are unable to rebook you, we will fully refund the cost of your trip. We strongly suggest you purchase travel insurance, just in case.
