For the duration of the trip, you will be treated to three delicious meals a day, using locally sourced ingredients expertly prepared by our chef in the ship’s galley. The menu changes daily, so you will never be bored or go hungry. Meals are either served buffet style on deck or family style in the galley, depending on the weather, and you are of course welcome to take your plate and sit anywhere you like! We accommodate all dietary restrictions to the best of our ability.

Breakfast

Locally roasted coffee and a plate full of breakfast pastries are available every morning at 6:30 on deck.

Breakfast is served at 8:00. Our chef may serve local favorites or take inspiration from world cuisines. Breakfast may include blueberry pancakes, french toast, eggs benedict, shakshouka, corned beef hash, stone-ground oatmeal, or chilaquiles.

Lunch

Lunch is usually served at noon, and often while sailing. Lunch often features hearty soups and chowders, freshly baked bread and salads with homemade dressings. Of course, you should always save room for a cookie or brownie as a sweet treat.

Snacks

You will never go hungry! We always have a fruit bowl available, along with leftover pastries and cookies to tide you over between meals.

We serve an afternoon snack around 4:00 or 5:00 pm every day. This could be a cheese board, stuffed dates, roasted halloumi, or a warm artichoke dip.

Coffee and tea are available at all times

Dinner

Served every evening at 6:00 pm, Dinner is usually hearty and filling, featuring dishes such as pork tenderloin, poached salmon, mashed potatoes, risotto, baked squash, or roasted broccoli.

We finish out the evening with a homemade pie or chocolate torte for dessert.

A New England Lobster Bake

Every trip features a traditional New England lobster bake– a highlight of the trip.

Our lobsters come straight from a local lobsterman– we may pass by his boat when we leave Camden harbor. At some point during the trip, we find a suitable beach on one of Maine’s many gorgeous islands and row ashore for bake.

Our crew sets up a table of appetizers– Fresh fruit, crudite, dips, chips, and cheeses– for you to snack on while you explore the island or take a swim. In the meantime, the lobsters and corn go into the pot, and the crew grills steak and veggie skewers.

The day concludes with smores roasted around the fire, watching the sunset.

byob

We do not serve alcohol on board, but we invite our guests to bring along any beverages of their choice. We provide an ice chest for any beer, wine, or other beverages you may chose to bring along.
