A sail on the Firefly is a casual and relaxed experience– think glamping– so there is no need for a dinner shirt. Bring comfortable, outdoor clothing in a soft-sided bag that will easily stow in your cabin.

The weather on the water tends to be cooler than on land, but we recommend packing for every eventuality and bringing lots of layers.

A sample packing list for a 4 day trip:

  • 5 T-Shirts
  • 3 Pairs of pants
  • 2 Pairs of shorts
  • Socks and underwear
  • Toiletries
  • Sneakers or hiking boots
  • Sandals
  • Bathing suit
  • Warm sweater
  • Hat and gloves (especially in June or October)
  • Windbreaker/Rain jacket
  • Rain pants
  • USB phone charger cord

In addition to essentials, we also recommend:

  • Camera (with extra batteries)
  • Sunglasses
  • Sunscreen
  • A good book
  • An instrument
  • A sleeping bag and pad (if you want to sleep under the stars)

We provide all towels, bed linens, blankets, pillows, food, and non-alcoholic drinks. We have an icebox available for passengers to store any beer, wine, or other drinks and snacks they may bring along.

We offer limited AC power to accommodate medical devices such as CPAP machines but cannot support power for larger electronic devices or hair dryers.
